Conyngham Borough will begin leaf pick up the first week in November for the 2020 fall season. Please place your leaves curbside starting the last week of October. Residents are reminded only leaves will be picked up. Yard waste, grass clippings, tree branches etc. will not be taken. Thank you to the citizens for all the cooperation given to our Department of Public Works employees.

Door-to-Door Surveys
Representatives from Conyngham Borough will be conducting a door-to-door survey of residents of the 200-300 blocks of Main Street during the week of August 24th. The purpose of the survey is to gather information essential for an application for federal Community Development Block Grant funding through Luzerne County for street improvements in the surveyed neighborhoods. The Conyngham Borough Council appreciates the cooperation of residents. All information will be kept confidential.

Conyngham Borough is seeking letters of interest to fill a vacancy in the position of Mayor. Interested residents must submit their letter on or before September 8th via mail or in person to Conyngham Borough, 215 Main Street, PO Box 442, Conyngham, PA 18219.

Trick or Treat October 30th
Conyngham Borough and Conyngham Churches have rescheduled Safe Trick or Treat and Trunk or Treat to Wednesday, October 30th 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM due to expected inclement weather on Halloween.
Please be aware that a section of Main Street, from the Firehouse northward to Christ Lutheran Church will be closed to thru traffic during the event. Closure is for the safety of everyone participating. Please plan accordingly. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
