Eligible tires for collection will include regular size automobile, motorcycle, pick-up truck and SUV and must be removed from rims, free of liquids and heavy mud and cannot be cut. This recycling program sponsored through the Luzerne County Solid Waste Management Department and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection will be held on October 3<sup>rd<\/sup> at the Butler Township Road Department.<\/p>\n<p>In order to have acceptable tires picked up please contact the Borough Office at (570)788-4385 no later than September 24, 2015 and leave your name, telephone number and number of tires to be picked up. The Department of Public Works employees will pick up tires October 1<sup>st<\/sup> and 2nd. Tires that do not meet the eligibility requirements will not be picked up.
